New evacuation center turned over to Mulanay
The Mulanay local government officially owns a new evacuation center.
The facility was recently turned over to Mulanay following its blessing and the signing of the memorandum of agreement for its operation and maintenance.
The new evacuation center cost P72.3 million to construct.
The amount also covers the costs for the slope protection, access road, perimeter fence, solar streetlights, and solar panels.
“Lubos na pasasalamat ang ipinaabot ni Mayor JT at ng LGU Mulanay sa ating project partners para sa kanilang suporta at paggabay upang mapanatiling ligtas ang ating bayan at sa ating mga kaagapay sa pagsasakatuparan ng disaster risk reduction and management,” the Mulanay LGU said on Facebook.
