Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital gets new molecular laboratory

Apr 23, 2022 @ 11:14

Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla said his two years of effort have finally borne fruit as the Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital now has a new molecular laboratory.

Revilla joined officials from the Department of Health and other offices during the recent inauguration of the new facility, which would be operational soon.

The laboratory has an RT-PCR machine for COVID-19 testing, which would be free for Philhealth members.

“Sa malapit na hinaharap, ang mga pasilidad at machines dito ay maaari ding magamit sa iba pang laboratory tests, subject to DOH policies and guidelines,” said Revilla.

He said the laboratory would be a big help to the people of the province during the pandemic, and thanked all those who made this dream of his a reality.

“Sa lahat po ng mga tanggapan at indibiduwal na nakibahagi upang maisakatuparan ang proyektong ito, maraming salamat po. To God be all the glory,” he said.
