Los Baños to conduct building inspections until June 30
The Los Baños local government has started its annual inspection to check establishments’ and buildings’ compliance with building codes and other rules and regulations concerning their structural integrity and safety.
It said the annual building inspection would last until June 30 and would cover business and industrial establishments, government and institutional facilities, and private homes.
“An advisory letter will be provided upon the conduct of on-site inspection,” it said on Facebook.
The inspection would check for compliance with the National Building Code, Philippine Clean Water Act, Sanitation Code, Local Government Code, Provincial Water Utilities Act, Plumbing Law, and the municipal ordinance on proper sewage treatment.
The inspectors would need the date of construction of the building, the floor area, details of the sepctic tank, and the number of rest rooms, it said.
