Quezon Gov. Danilo Suarez joins peace covenant signing, commits to orderly polls
Quezon Gov. Danilo Suarez has vowed to work for peaceful and orderly elections next month.
Suarez joined the April 18 Peace Covenant and signing of the pledge to ensure there would be no trouble when the province heads to the polls.
The event was held at the Queen Margarette Hotel in Lucena City and was attended by officials from the Commission on Elections, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, and candidates.
Suarez said he was one with the aim of Vote S.A.F.E. Pilipinas for quiet, peaceful, and safe local and national elections.
