Angono to provide free testing, vaccines, and medicines for pregnant women

Pregnant residents of two barangays in Angono will be able to avail themselves of a host of medical services later this month.
It will be hosting the Malnutrition Patuloy na Labanan, First 1000 Days ay Tutukan! program in Barangay San Isidro on April 25, and in Barangay San Roque on April 29.
A total of 50 slots have been allocated for each barangay, according to the Angono local government.
Those who want to participate could get stubs from their barangay health center.
The services to be offered would be free random blood sugar, HIV, hepatitis B, and syphilis screening, and free tetanus and diphtheria injections.
Free medicines such as ferrous sulphate, calcium, folic Acid and malunggay capsules would be provided, along with buntis kits and food packs.
Lectures would also be offered.
