Youth is no hindrance to good public service, says Majayjay Vice Mayor Ariel Argañosa
Majayjay Vice Mayor Ariel Argañosa is not letting his youth get in the way of his dream of serving the people of his town.
In a Facebook post, Argañosa said he took comfort in a bible verse as he noted criticism about his decision to run for vice mayor despite his young age.
According to him, you should not let anyone look down on you just because you are young.
Age is not the basis for providing service to the people, he said.
Public service is a vocation that is open to anyone regardless of age or status in life, he said.
He has also shown people that even if he is young, he has done his best to prove that he is deserving of the post.
Even the young can serve!
1 Timothy 4:12
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
