San Jose Mayor Ben Patron invites med students to sign up for 5-year medicine degree

The Batangas State University’s College of Medicine is offering a five-year program for the degree of Doctor of Medicine, and San Jose students have a chance to avail themselves of this.
San Jose Mayor Ben Patron said the Batangas State University will be accepting applicants from San Jose up to May 28.
“And through the continuous communication by yours truly, Mayor Valentino “Ben” R. Patron, with this institution, the BatStateU College of Medicine is now accepting applicants from our municipality for the second batch,” he said on Facebook.
To qualify, applicants must be a graduate of any four-year allied health Bachelor’s Degree program.
They must also be endorsed or nominated by the local government on the basis of academic standing and willingness to serve the community.
They must have a general weighted average of 90 percent and above, and must have passed the National Medical Admission Test.
