Imus lays down guidelines for tournaments and sports league activities

Apr 8, 2022 @ 10:06

Those who want to hold tournaments and sports activities in Imus should take note of the guidelines set by the city government.

In a Facebook post, Imus Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi shared the rules for the safe conduct of sports activities.

Maliksi said the organizers, coaching staff, players, and even the spectators must be fully vaccinated.

For activities held in covered courts, arenas, and gyms, proof of vaccination must be presented before entry, he said.

Those 18 years old and above must be fully vaccinated and must have received a booster shot, while those 17 years old and below must be fully vaccinated.

Organizers should also see to it that public health standards are followed, and the venues must be disinfected and sanitized before each event, he said.

“Ang guidelines ay maaaring magbago anumang oras, ayon sa mandato ng IATF at mga kinauukulang ahensya,” the mayor said.
