Santa Maria Mayor Cindy Carolino is feeling blessed after receiving a new patient transport vehicle from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

Carolino said this is the town’s 8th ambulance which residents can use during emergencies.

She said the donation of the new vehicle was the fruit of her efforts to seek equipment that could help the people of Santa Maria during calamities.

“Dahil una sa ating prayoridad ang kalusugan, patuloy ang paglapit natin sa iba’t ibang mga ahensya upang makapag-atikha tayo ng mga kagamitang magagamit ng lahat sa oras ng pangangailangan,” she said on Facebook.
