Lucena Councilor and mayoralty candidate Sunshine Abcede has denied claims that she did not help the people during the pandemic.
Abcede took to Facebook to dispute the allegations and said she has receipts to prove what she did.
“Mag-fact check tayo at huwag maniwala lamang sa sabi-sabi,” she said.
She showed correspondence between her office and other government agencies where she listed courses of action to address the pandemic.
These include analysis and recommendations from the UP Resilience Institute and her request for safety protocols from government employees.
She also had an ordinance to protect Lucena residents, provided assistance to students who needed gadgets for online classes, and provided free transportation during rush hour, she said.
“#LevelUpLucena. Tayo ay manindigan para sa katotohanan at kabutihan sa ating lungsod,” she said.
