Infanta Vice Mayor LA Ruanto vows to fight frustrated murder case

Infanta Vice Mayor LA Ruanto has vowed to defend the truth and fight the complaint filed against him and several others over the ambush of Infanta Mayor Filipina Grace America.
America reportedly filed a case of frustrated murder against her rival for the mayoralty post Ebit Escueta, Vice Mayor Ruanto, Bobby Vargas, Ronil Nolledo, Jorraffin Plantilla and Gilbert Pacio.
Ruanto said he has yet to receive the complaint and said he would provide a detailed response after he sees it.
But he vowed to fight the case as he denied involvement in the incident.
“Ngunit hayaan nyo po na ngayon pa lamang ay akin ng masambit na sa ganitong mga alegasyon at kaso, na ni sa hinagap ng isip ay di ko ito magagawa. Bukas na aklat ang buhay ko, at ni minsan kahit sa pagkabata ko ay hindi ako nasangkot sa anumang kaguluhan o karahasan,” he said on Facebook.
He would fight for the truth, he said.
“Lalaban ako para sa Katotohanan! Lalabanan ko tulad pa man noon ang mali at hindi mabuti,” he said.
