President Duterte may remain neutral when it comes to presidential candidates, but he has no hesitation endorsing local candidates.
The President has endorsed the vice mayoralty bid of Taytay Councilor Pia Cabral.
Cabral, in a Facebook post, shared the video message of Mr. Duterte expressing support for her.
In the video, he praised her leadership skills and her energy, and asked the people of Taytay to consider her.
“It is my pleasure to endorse councilor Pia Cabral for Vice Mayor of Taytay, Rizal. Her leadership skills and youthful energy and enthusiasm to serve are the ideas that we all should look for in our public servants this coming elections. It is therefore my hope that you will consider Pia to be the Vice Mayor that the Taytayeños rightfully deserve,” he said.
