GMA LGU says no to loud campaign jingles outside churches or schools
The General Mariano Alvarez local government has asked candidates to keep their campaign jingles down outside schools and churches in the municipality.
In a Facebook post, the GMA local government said they should turn the volume down or turn off their loudspeakers when they pass by these places as they could be disrupting an ongoing mass or classes.
Churches and schools themselves have complained about the noise level, it said.
It asked for the candidates’ cooperation for peaceful and orderly elections.
