Short kings have always ruled, says Sampaloc Mayor Gelo Devanadera

Sampaloc Mayor Gelo Devanadera was amused by an article praising Hollywood couples composed of a shorter man with a taller partner.
In a Facebook post, Devanadera shared an article about Zendaya and Tom Holland that took note of the height difference between the two.
It had the tagline “Short king is in and a thing in 2022.”
But Devanadera would beg to differ.
In his town, being a short king has been a thing since 2003 when he met his wife Joy.
He shared a photo of the two of them that showed Joy towering over him.
They were there before Zendaya and Tom!
“Aysus, nakiuso naman sila kuya..2003 pa lang uso na sa amin yan..
Joy Dizon-Devanadera,” Devanadera posted.
