New teacher thanks Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto for his help
Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto’s assistance to an aspiring teacher has borne fruit.
Nieto had helped the woman to pass the board exam by providing her financial assistance to take the review class.
In a Facebook post, Nieto recalled that she only had P7,000 at that time, but the review class cost P12,000.
She decided to go to the mayor’s office for help after learning her seatmate was a Cainta scholar.
Now, the woman has passed the exam and is a professional teacher.
She invited the mayor to a gathering to thank him, and promised him that she would teach in a Cainta school.
She’s paying it forward!
Congratulations 🎊,” Nieto posted.
