Trece Martires teams up with PSA to offer free late birth registration
Trece Martires residents without birth certificates can now fix this problem for free.
The local government has teamed up with the Philippine Statistics Authority to provide free services for the late registration of birth.
They have signed a memorandum of agreement for the PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project, according to Trece Martires Mayor Gemma Lubigan.
This is intended to help residents get a birth certificate that they could use to register for a national ID, Lubigan said.
“Layunin nito na mairehistro ang Birth Certificate ng lahat nang hindi pa nakatala sa OfficCity Civil Registry upang sila ay mapasali na sa PhilSys National Identification System at upang maitaas ang antas ng Pagtatalang Sibil o Civil Registration,” she said on Facebook.
She advised residents to prepare the requirements for the late registration of their birth certificates.
