Imus Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi marks his late father’s birthday

The birthday parties of Imus Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi’s father, former Cavite Gov. Ayong Maliksi, had always been fun occasions.
And even if his father has passed away, Maliksi said the family still marked the special day.
In a Facebook post, the mayor said his dad’s birthday was one of their favorite occasions because they were always complete and happy on that day.
And even if his father is gone, they still feel his love, he said.
He asked his father for continued guidance as he carries out his dream to help the Filipino people.
“Happy birthday in heaven, dad.
Inaalala namin ang araw na ito bilang isa sa mga paboritong okasyon natin kung saan tayo’y laging buo at masaya.
Wala ka man sa aming piling, hanggang ngayon ay ramdam namin ang yakap at pagmamahal mo.
Gabayan mo kami sa pagtupad sa iyong nag-iisang hiling bawat taon, ang maiahon at maalalayan ang bawat pamilyang Pilipino.
Dad, we love you, and we miss you every day,” Maliksi posted.
