Morong LGU honored for Laguna Lake protection efforts

The local government of Morong, Rizal has done well in its efforts to protect the Laguna Lake.
Morong received the Kampeon ng Lawa Award this year from the Laguna Lake Development Authority.
The award was given as part of the commemoration of World Water Day.
The local government, led by Mayor Olivia De Leon, gave thanks for the honor and dedicated it to the people of Morong.
“Ang pagbibigay natin ng malasakit sa ating kalikasan ay isang hakbang upang mapabuti ang kalagayan ng ating kapaligiran sa ating nasasakupan,” it said on Facebook.
