Cabuyao Mayor Mel Gecolea is learning from the best practices of other cities.

Gecolea’s latest vlog is all about his visit to the Smart City Command Center of Baguio.

In a Facebook post, the mayor said he went to Baguio because its Smart City Command Center was his model for Cabuyao’s own command center.

He said a structure like this would help ensure the safety and security of the people of the city.

The construction of the Cabuyao Command Center would also boost the economy as investors would be attracted to a secure city.

More businesses would mean more jobs, he said.
