San Mateo launches Oplan Binata

Adolescent boys in San Mateo could undergo the summertime rite of passage for free free.
The San Mateo local government is launching Oplan Binata and offering free circumcision beginning March 17.
It will be open to boys 11 years old and older.
The libreng tuli operation would be conducted on March 17 at Silangan Elementary School, the San Mateo government said.
On March 18, it would be held at the San Mateo National High School, and on March 21 at the Ampid I Covered Court.
Interested participants should register for the service and wait for a text message confirming their schedule.
Only the first 150 boys will be accommodated and they must be fully vaccinated.
