Alfonso to host free spaying and neutering operations for pets
The local government of Alfonso, together with the Philippine Pet Birth Control Center Foundation, will host free spaying and neutering operations as part of the observance of National Rabies Awareness Month.
Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat said 500 slots would be opened for the first batch.
Only one pet per household would be accepted, and interested participants should register online, said Salamat.
The free operations would be held on March 17 at the covered court of Barangay Mangas.
Those who would not be included in the first batch could register for the next batch, the mayor said.
“Sikapin po nating maging rabies-free ang ating munisipalidad. Maraming salamat po sa ating mga katuwang upang maisakatuparan ang programang ito!” he said.
