Antipolo Mayor Andrea Ynares shares successful eye operation of young girl
A little girl from Antipolo could now see better thanks to the successful operation of her congenital cataract.
Antipolo Mayor Andrea Ynares shared updates on the condition of Khie Brianna Moreno, who was assisted by the city government.
Khie was supposed to have her operation earlier, but it was postponed after she contracted COVID-19, pneumonia, and scabies, Ynares said on Facebook.
Khie’s parents sought the city government’s help for her eye problem in February 2021, and her check up was scheduled the follow month.
However, her operation had to be postponed due to her illness.
It finally pushed through earlier this month and she is now on the road to recovery, said Ynares.
She thanked all those who prayed for Khie’s successful operation.
The mayor was happy to make this little girl’s life better!
