Sta. Rosa City government to open applications for scholarships for private school students
The Sta. Rosa City government will begin accepting applications for scholarships for private school students next week.
The application would be from March 15 to 17 and would be for incoming grade seven students, the city government announced on Facebook.
The exam for this would be on May 14, it said.
To qualify for the scholarship program, students must have a general average of 85 percent and above. They could be graduates of any elementary school.
Their parents’ joint annual income must be P300,000 or lower and they must be residents of Sta. Rosa.
Depedendents of parents working in the government are allowed to apply provided that their monthly income is P20,000 a month or lower.
Applicants must present a certificate of good moral character from the school where they graduated, a certificate of residency of not less than 1 year from the barangay, income tax return or certificate of tax exemption, certified true copies of their school grades, school ID, a 2×2 photo, and their parents’ voter certification.
