Sampaloc Mayor Gelo Devanadera explains why Sara Duterte is his choice for VP

Sampaloc Mayor Gelo Devanadera is feeling pretty good about his decision to support the vice presidential bid of Sara Duterte.
In a Facebook post, Devanadera explained why he chose her.
He said Duterte is a mayor like him, and she understands the problems of local governments.
It is not easy to be a mayor as people expect them to address their problems, he said.
It is good training for officials in national positions to have been a local chief executive so that they would understand the situation of mayors, he said.
He is certain that Duterte would support mayors like him when she win.
A leader must understand local officials, so he is going for Duterte!
