Carmona vaccinates more than 95,000 residents

Amid the shift to the new normal, the COVID-19 vaccination drive in Carmona continues.
It has vaccinated more than 95,000 individuals, the local government reported recently.
The vaccination of priority sectors, 5 to 11 year old children, and the members of the general population are being done simultaneously, the local government said.
But the pace of the campaign also depends on the number of doses being delivered by the national government, it explained.
“Nais ipaunawa ng Municipal Health Office na ang bilang ng mga nababakunahan ay depende sa bilang ng dumadating na supply mula sa national government,” it said in a Facebook post.
Nevertheless, it has been doing all it can to ramp up the immunization drive, it said.
It urged the public to participate in the campaign.
“Ginagawa ng MHO ang lahat ng makakaya nito upang mas mapabilis ang vaccination. Maraming salamat sa inyong pag unawa at pakikiisa sa Pamahalaang Bayan ng Carmona,” it said.
