Lucena trains teachers, parents, staff on vegetable farming
The city of Lucena is helping school personnel and parents be more than just plantitos and plantitas.
The city agriculturist office, led by Mellissa Letargo, has trained them on vegetable production using different technologies.
It recently held the training at the Lucena City National High School, according to the city’s public information office.
Joining the event were parents, teachers, utility staff, 4Ps volunteers, it said.
“Maliban naman sa mga nabanggit na discussion ay nagbigay mensahe naman si Letargo kaugnay sa ‘Grow Your Own Food’ campaign ng CAO,” it said.
