Quezon gets new refrigerated van for COVID vaccines

The Quezon government has received a new refrigerated van that it will use to ramp up its COVID response.
The van was donated by the Quezon Power (Philippines) Limited, Co. and San Buenaventura Power Ltd, Co., the Quezon government said on Facebook.
Quezon Gov. Danilo Suarez personally received the donation and thanked the donors for their generosity, it said.
“Maraming salamat po sa Quezon Power (Philippines) Limited, Co. sa inyong patuloy na pagsuporta sa pamahalaang panlalawigan at sa pagiging katuwang sa pagharap sa hamon ng pandemya,” it said.
The van would be used for the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines for children 5 to 11 years old.
This would ensure that the vaccines would be stored in the proper temperature to protect their efficacy.
