Iba na ngayon: Mandanas vows Marcos Jr, Sara Duterte victory in Batangas
By Billy Begas
While admitting that Ferdinand Marcos Jr. did not win in Batangas in past elections, Gov. Hermilando Mandanas said the result of the 2022 polls will be different.
Mandanas said the situation now is different and the country needs the leadership of Marcos and his running mate, vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte.
Mandanas, a stalwart of PDP-Laban, said Batangas is behind the unity call of Marcos and Duterte, who present in the campaign rally in Balayan, Batangas on March 3.
“Magkaisa tayo, ‘yan ang pamamaraan. Hindi ‘yung magbangayan. Talagang magkaisa.
Batangas Rep. Eileen Ermita-Buhain said she trusts the ability of Marcos and Duterte to lead the country having been local chief executives.
House Majority Leader and Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, Batangas Vice Gov. Mark Liveste and Lakas-CMD Batangas provincial chairman and former Executive Sec. Eduardo Ermita also attended the rally.
Batangas has 1.8 million registered voters.
