Normalcy is gradually returning to Santa Maria.
This was evident when it was able to hold a flag-raising ceremony, according to Mayor Cindy Carolino.
In a Facebook post, Carolino shared photos from the ceremony that was a staple activity every Monday during pre-pandemic times.
The new leadership of the Municipal Cooperative Development Council took their oaths during the event.
The flag-raising ceremony is an important one for local government officials because it shows that they love, respect, and honor the country, Carolino said.
And now, it shows that we’re on our way to returning to our old routines!
“Bilang hudyat sa pagbabalik normal, muling sinimulan natin ang linggo sa pagdadaos ng Flag Raising Ceremony.
Nanumpa rin sa atin ang bagong pamunuan ng Municipal Cooperative Development Council.
Ang nasabing seremonya ay isa sa mga importanteng gawi ng mga kawani ng gobyerno upang ipakita ang pagmamahal, paggalang at pagbibigay karangalan sa bansa,” Carolino posted.
