Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat to open village with affordable housing

Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat will make it easier for residents of his municipality to get a house of their own.
Salamat said the RS Ville or Responsableng Serbisyo Village will open soon and offer affordable housing to residents of Alfonso.
“Ito po ay ang ating proyekto na murang pabahay para sa ating lihitimong taga Alfonso o higit sa sampung taon ng naninirahan sa ating bayan na nais magkaroon ng sariling bahay at lupa,” Salamat said on Facebook.
The project is being undertaken with the Social Housing Finance Corporation, he said.
He said the homeowners’ association officers would visit barangays to assess and interview those who had applied for the housing program.
It is his dream to give his constituents a house of their own, he said.
“Pangarap po natin na walang Alfonseño na maiiwan sa progreso. Walang Alfonseño na walang sariling bahay at lupa,” he said.
