Quezon Gov. Danilo Suarez is helping farmers to keep their produce fresh while transporting them to the market.

Suarez provided a chiller van to farmers from Barangay Nieva, General Luna.

They would use this to deliver their harvest to the market, he said.

“Inaasahang malaki ang maitutulong ng nasabing chiller van upang mapanatiling sariwa ang kanilang mga aning pinya sa tuwing ibinabyahe nila ito patungo sa mas malawak na merkado,” he said on Facebook.

The provision of the chiller van project was done in coordination with the General Luna locala government, the Department of Agriculture-IVA, and Department of Agrarian Reform, he said.

“Layunin po nitong mapayabong ang kabuhayan ng mga indibidwal sa sektor ng agrikultura,” he added.
