Taytay opens new bike lane

Feb 14, 2022 @ 11:09

Cyclists officially have their own road in Taytay.

Taytay has opened its new bike lane along the Taytay Diversion Road, Mayor Joric Gacula announced.

Gacula said this was the pilot area of Taytay’s program to put up bike lanes in the municipality.

The areas were chosen strategically and were approved by the Department of Transpportation, he said.

He reminded motorists that the bike lanes should not be used as parking spaces. They are not for motorcycles either.
