Batangas Rep. Maitet Collantes provides pneumonia vaccine to close to 1,000 teachers

Batangas Rep. Maitet Collantes has helped protect the health of nearly a thousand teachers by providing them with vaccines against pneumonia.
Collantes said that 550 teachers from Malvar and 440 from Tanauan received the jab.
“Ang bakuna pong ito ay epektibo po sa loob ng limang (5) taon na tiyak na makatutulong sa kalusugan ng ating mga guro,” Collantes said on Facebook.
The program was launched in coordination with the Department of Health and the Department of Education in Malvar and Tanauan.
It is meant to keep the teachers healthy especially since they are exposed to all kinds of illnesses as they do their job, she said.
