San Mateo allows basketball and volleyball games

Feb 3, 2022 @ 11:23

Sports and exercise fans in San Mateo can now enjoy basketball and volleyball games.

This was because the San Mateo Task Force COVID-19 resolution allowing contact sports, including these two activities, has already been approved, the San Mateo government announced on Facebook.

But there are some rules to be followed for these games.

The contact sports will only be allowed in all covered courts from 6 am to 8 pm.

No basketball or volleyball games will be allowed in open or street courts

Only fully vaccinated individuals will be allowed to enter the venue and play. Spectators must be fully vaccinated as well.

The venue could only be filled to 50 percent of its capacity.

Only 12 players per game will be allowed.

The players must wear their face masks during game breaks, and they must be in proper attire.
