Santa Cruz Vice Mayor Laarni Malibiran touched by student’s message of gratitude
Santa Cruz Vice Mayor Laarni Malibiran used to be a teacher, and she was happy to know that she was able to make a difference in her students’ lives.
In a Facebook post, Malibiran shared a message from her student Joan who thanked her for inspiring her to do better and to aim high.
Joan credited Malibiran for her achievements and wished for her former teacher to continue touching lives.
Malibiran recalled that Joan was a nursing student who always asked her many questions.
Receiving a compliment from Joan was more than a reward, she said.
She wished for her former student to reach her dreams and thanked her for remembering her as a teacher.
Teachers can change lives!
“Naalala ko si Joan when I was teaching at Philiipine College of Health and Sciences, Inc. in Manila in year 2003.Almost two decades na rin.Siya yung nursing student ko na lagi akong kinukulit.Sa aming mga naging guro nila, to receive a compliment from our students is more than a reward. To you Joan, just continue flying high to turn your dreams real.Thank you for remembering Ma’am,” Malibiran posted.
