Dasmariñas local government launches livelihood program

The Dasmariñas local government has launched a program to help people help themselves earn a living.
Dasmariñas Mayor Jenny Barzaga said the city’s “Tulong Puhunan” program would give residents additional knowledge on how to start a livelihood.
A total of 450 beneficiaries from different barangays would benefit from the program run by the Livelihood Office in coordination with the Dasmariñas Green Ladies, Barzaga said.
They would be trained on making dish washing liquid, food processing, candle making, sewing and rug making, she said.
Some online sellers would also be given capital, she said.
The training would end on March 3.
