Cabuyao Mayor Mel Gecolea shares his love for baseball

Aside from politics, Cabuyao Mayor Mel Gecolea loves sports, especially baseball.
Gecolea reminisced about his activities as a sportsman in a Facebook post.
He said he played baseball as a kid and was even part of the Philippine Baseball Team that competed in the Asian Championships in 1982.
He continues to play baseball even now.
He not only enjoys it, it helps keep him healthy and strong as well.
There’s no striking out for him!
“Lubos po ang aking pagmamahal sa sports lalo na sa larong Baseball. Ito ay aking nilalaro na noong bata pa lamang, at napabilang din sa Philippine Baseball Team na lumaban sa Asian Championships noong 1982.
Hanggang ngayon ay patuloy po akong naglalaro ng baseball dahil bukod sa ito’y aking paboritong gawin, nakakatulong din ito at ang iba pang sports upang maging malusog at malakas ang ating pangangatawan.
