When she was young, Batangas City Councilor Alyssa Cruz’s mother advised her to pray the novena to find a husband.

Cruz said her mother wanted her to find a partner like Saint Joseph was to Mama Mary.

She took this to heart and prayed not just to Saint Joseph but also to Our Lady of Mediatrix and Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

And she believes her prayers were answered when her hubby Serge came into her life.

In a Facebook post, she greeted her hubby a happy birthday and gave thanks to the Lord for answering her request.

She was able to find a husband who is very kind, responsible, and loving, she said.

He is always there to support and guide the family, she added.
