Rizal‘s bamboo planting program goes to Cardona

The Rizal provincial government is determined to increase the population of bamboo in the province.
It recently brought the program to Cardona, where provincial and local officials, including Mayor Totoy Campo, participated in planting bamboo, the Rizal government said on Facebook.
The bamboo plants are expected to help address flooding in the area, it said.
“Nagpasalamat si Mayor Campo sa YES Program ng pamahalaan na umaagapay sa kanila sa pagtatanim upang maiwasan ang pagbaha sa lokalidad,” it said.
Vice Gov. Junrey San Juan also thanked the Cardona officials for supporting the program that seeks to protect and care for the environment.
