Residents of Lucena found and captured a Philippine Owl in Barangay Marketview.

The animal was not harmed and has been turned over to the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office in Tayabas City, according to the Lucena Public Information Office.

This came about after barangay officials got in touch with the City General Services Office, which sought advice from the Tanggol Kalikasan group.

CENRO is expected to care fo the owl and to see to its rehabilitation, the Lucena PIO said.
