More than 160 residents of Lucena were able to keep tabs on their health after receiving free medical laboratory examinations.

The residents underwent ECG, ultrasound, blood chemistry, and urinalysis and were given consultation courtesy of Sen. Risa Hontiveros, according to Lucena Councilor Sunshine Abcede.

Abcede, who is running for mayor, said she plans to make medical services like these more widespread and available to more people.

“Bahagi ng ating planong pangkalusugan na mas mapalawak at gawing mas accessible sa mga Lucenahin ang mga ganitong uri ng serbisyong medikal sa buong Lungsod,” she said on Facebook.
