Kawit Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo advises public to get vaccinated even if they could still get COVID
It is true that vaccinated people could still be infected with COVID-19, but this is no reason for the public to shun the jab, according to Kawit Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo.
In a Facebook post, Aguinaldo said he had read some comments from people asking why they would get inoculated when it would not protect them 100 percent.
But he said that the vaccine would still protect them from getting severe symptoms of COVID-19.
He urged Kawit residents to sign up for the vaccination drive.
Getting vaccinated would protect not just themselves, but their family and the community as well, he added.
