Cainta Councilor Kay Ilagan was happy to bring a blood pressure monitor for elderly visitors to the Kabisig Health Center, and it was because of her father Mon.

In a Facebook post, Ilagan said her dad called up to instruct her to bring the blood pressure device to the center.

He took the initiative after hearing from several senior citizens that the center had no means of monitoring their blood pressure.

Ilagan said this is how officials should act.

They should immediately take care of people’s needs without waiting for a request, she said.
