Los Baños Vice Mayor Josephine Sumangil Evangelista to host blood drive on Jan 30

The supply of the blood bank in Los Baños is getting low, and Vice Mayor Josephine Sumangil Evangelista is hoping to fill it up through her blood donation activity.
Sumangil announced on Facebook that she would host a blood letting program on January 30, from 7 am to 3 pm, at the Batong Malake Covered Court.
The project would be held in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter, she said.
“Ito po ay napapanahon sapagkat nakaabot po sa aking kaalaman na sa kasalukuyan ay wala na pong dugo na naka-stock sa ating Blood Bank Facility,” she said.
She invited all those qualified to give blood to participate in the event.
Their donation would save lives, she said.
“Ngayon pa lang po ay nagpapasalamat na ang inyong lingkod at makakaasa po kayo na ang Serbisyo Sumangil ay patuloy na mag-iisip ng mga paraan upang mas lalo pa po kayong mapaglingkuran,” she added.
