Antipolo City provides new leg to accident victim

Jan 21, 2022 @ 9:41

An accident victim now has a new lease on life thanks to the Antipolo City government.

Antipolo Mayor Andrea Ynares shared on Facebook that accident victim Dante Carag has already been fitted with his prosthetic leg provided by the city government.

Carag lost his job after his accident and had approached the city government for help in getting a prosthetic leg.

He was subsequently scheduled for rehab consultation and measured for his new leg, Ynares said.

The new leg was installed after a few weeks, and this would help him to work again, she said.

“Masaya po kami para kay Kuya Dante at nabuhayan ng pag-asa dahil makakapagtrabaho o hanapbuhay na ulit siya para sa kanyang pamilya,” she said.

She also said she was happy to see him being able to walk again.

“Maraming salamat po sa mga nag-alay at patuloy na nag-aalay ng dasal para kay Kuya Dante at sa lahat ng mga kababayan nating nangangailangan ng kalinga.

Laging may pag-asa Antipolo!” she added.
