Cavite nonagenarians to get cash gift, says Cavite Board Member Dennis Lacson

Senior citizens in Cavite don’t need to reach the age of 100 to receive a cash bonus from the government.
Cavite Board Member Dennis Lacson announced that the provincial board has approved on third reading the ordinance providing a cash gift to Cavite residents who are 90 to 99 years old.
Under the ordinance, the nonagenarians will receive P5,000 each as well as a certificate of recognition.
Lacson and Board Member Ivee Reyes sponsored the measure.
The co-sponsors were Vice Governor Jolo Revilla and the rest of the provincial council.
