Majayjay to require Xray for food handlers and grocery staff before granting business permits
The local government of Majayjay will now require food handlers, grocery staff, and workers in businesses that involve food to get Xrays before it will issue business permits.
Majayjay Mayor Jojo Clado announced the new policy in a Facebook post and said it was upon the request of the municipal health officer.
He said this would ensure that the businesses in town would be free of tuberculosis and COVID-19.
For other businesses, the vaccination cards of their employees will suffice, he said.
Salamat po sa pang-unawa,” he said.
