Quarantine control points in Lucena help keep crime down, says PNP

The quarantine control points in Lucena have not only helped to curb the spread of COVID-19, these have also helped keep crime down.
This was according to Lucena’s acting chief of police Lt. Col. Reynaldo Reyes.
In a Facebook post, the Lucena Public Information Office quoted Reyes as saying that the crime rate in Lucena has been low amid the pandemic, and he attributed this to the quarantine control points.
The quarantine control points are meant to ensure that only authorized persons are outside their homes.
