Taytay has done more than the bare minimum when it comes to implementing disaster risk reduction measures, according to Mayor Joric Gacula.

In a Facebook post, Gacula said Taytay obtained a “beyond compliant” rating in the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils and Offices Assessment for 2021.

This showed that it was more than prepared to handle emergencies and calamities, he said.

“Ito po ay dahil sa maayos, organisado, at mabilis nating response at readiness pagdating sa mga sakuna sa ating bayan,” he said.

He thanked his development team and the volunteers who are always ready to come to the aid of fellow Taytay residents in their time of need.
