Former Cainta Mayor Mon Ilagan’s fever, cough, and cold have turned out to be COVID-19.

Ilagan said in a Facebook post that he tested positive in an antigen test.

But Ilagan, who is running for Cainta vice mayor in the May elections, said he plans to be productive while in quarantine.

He said that while in isolation, he would use the time to fine tune his 2022 plans.

He would also identify his priorities and map out plans on how to handle the pandemic.

Ilagan has been fully vaccinated and got his booster shot last month.

He thanked all those who sent wishes for his swift recovery.

“Salamat sa inyong sincerest concerns, deep prayers, offered for my early recovery,” he said.
